. it was tough. There was no hiding anywhere ”- Yuri Kozyrev, sent to Libya for Time Magazine, during clashes between Gaddafi's government troops and rebel forces. March 2011. Dubbed the Jasmine Revolution, Arab Spring or even the Facebook Revolution, this strong Scirocco wind is passing through North Africa and the Middle East. A wind of determination in progress that seeks to redefine the soul of each country. Most of the news related to revolutionary events focused on the elements common to the region: the young age of the insurgents, the astute use they know how to make social networks and the adoption (in most cases) of non-violent protests as a political tool. While crossing the different territories, capturing images of Libya, Egypt and Bahrain, Kozyrev became aware of the differences he encountered: the Benghazi rebels and Bahraini protesters were fighting against the dictatorship, but their approaches and aspirations were not the same. The scenario of each revolution unfolded autonomously, each with its heroes, its crises and its specific story. Every revolution has arisen from the arid terrain of a distinct regime and from the deep will of the younger generations to regain the destiny of their country.
